Kyle Oakley
Kyle and his wife Amy were married in 2008, and together have 3 children: Kayla (born in 2008), Noah (born in 2011), and Keyan (born in 2014). Kyle has served as the Upward Sports Director since December 2020. Since becoming the Upward Sports Director, and now the Recreational Ministries Director, Kyle has added Upward Soccer, Upward Volleyball, and soon Upward Baseball and Softball to our Recreational Ministries. In addition, Upward Basketball and Cheer have seen record numbers of participants over the last two seasons. Kyle also oversees our Adult Sports Ministries, which include Men’s League Basketball (also a record number of participants the previous summer), and will be adding Women’s Basketball, Co-ed Volleyball, and Men’s Golf League in the coming months.
Kyle’s interests include discipleship, leadership, youth sports management, and adult sports management. Outside of his responsibilities in Lebanon, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, reading, golfing, and camping. Sports are a big part of his life; his favorite sports teams are the North Carolina Tar Heels, Washington Commanders, Cleveland Guardians, Charlotte FC, and Newcastle United FC.
