About Us

ABOUT LEBANON

Founded in 1909, Lebanon Baptist Church seeks to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, help them grow in their relationship with the Lord, and challenge them to serve others throughout their communities. Located on the northeast side of Greensboro, Lebanon is a multi-generational community of believers from all different walks of life. We are a body of believers who consider ourselves to be both friendly and Biblically sound. With both contemporary and traditional services, we strive to be Christ-centered, financially responsible, compassionate, faithful, loving, fun, outwardly focused, and a great place for families with children of all ages.

Our goal is to build a greater knowledge and relationship with God through gospel-centered music and preaching, children’s, youth, and college ministries, Life Group communities offering small-group support, fellowship and teaching, and practical life application classes such as Financial Peace and ReEngage Marriage ministry. Community outreach such as Upward Sports and our Food Pantry are also important parts of our ministry as we strive to make a difference in Greensboro, North Carolina and beyond.

If you’re planning to visit with us on a Sunday or Wednesday, we would love for that to happen. In fact, if you would like to plan the visit beforehand, just click the button below so we can get things ready for you and your family! You are always welcome during any of our worship times. Make sure to stop by the First Time Guest table at the entrance of the Worship Center or Kids Hallway so we can meet you and give you a gift as well!

When you arrive, our friendly Welcome team will be there to greet you with warm smiles and helpful hands. We’ll happily show you to our Worship Center, guide you to our “Lebanon Kids” area downstairs, or get your little one settled into our nursery. It’s our pleasure to assist and serve you!

What to Expect

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

While you are in service and life groups, your kids will be having a blast with Lebanon Kids! We promise they will be well taken care of while you enjoy the worship service. We offer both kids church and small groups for your children, which provide an opportunity to meet new friends, learn about Jesus, and have a whole lot of fun! If you are bringing your children, make sure to come in at the Kid’s Ministry check-in entrance downstairs and our volunteers will take it from there! To learn about Lebanon Kids, click below.
