About Lebanon

Founded in 1909, Lebanon Baptist Church is dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping individuals grow in their relationship with the Lord, and encouraging them to serve others within their communities. Located on the northeast side of Greensboro, Lebanon is a multi-generational congregation, bringing together believers from all walks of life. As a community, we value being both friendly and Biblically sound. With a blend of contemporary and traditional services, we are committed to being Christ-centered, financially responsible, compassionate, faithful, loving, fun, outwardly focused, and a welcoming place for families with children of all ages.

Our mission is to deepen knowledge and relationship with God through gospel-centered music and preaching, as well as through ministries for children, youth, and college students. We offer Life Groups that provide small-group support, fellowship, teaching, and practical life application classes like Financial Peace and ReEngage Marriage Ministry. Community outreach initiatives such as Upward Sports and our Food Pantry are also key components of our ministry as we work to make a positive impact in Greensboro, North Carolina, and beyond.

Be sure to stop by the First Time Guest table at the entrance of the Worship Center or Kids Hallway — we’d love to meet you and give you a special gift!

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, our friendly Welcome Team will be there to greet you with warm smiles and helpful hands. We’ll gladly show you to the Worship Center, guide you to our Lebanon Kids area downstairs, or help get your little one settled into the nursery. It’s our pleasure to assist and serve you — we’re excited to have you with us!

What to Expect

What About My Kids?

While you’re in the worship service or life groups, your kids will be having a blast with Lebanon Kids! We promise they’ll be well taken care of while you enjoy the service. We offer both Kids Church and small groups for your children, giving them the chance to meet new friends, learn about Jesus, and have a whole lot of fun!
