ABOUT LEBANON

Founded in 1909, Lebanon Baptist Church seeks to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, help them grow in their relationship with the Lord, and challenge them to serve others throughout their communities. Located on the northeast side of Greensboro, Lebanon is a multi-generational community of believers from all different walks of life. We are a body of believers who consider ourselves to be both friendly and Biblically sound. With both contemporary and traditional services, we strive to be Christ-centered, financially responsible, compassionate, faithful, loving, fun, outwardly focused, and a great place for families with children of all ages.

Our goal is to build a greater knowledge and relationship with God through gospel-centered music and preaching, children’s, youth, and college ministries, Life Group communities offering small-group support, fellowship and teaching, and practical life application classes such as Financial Peace and ReEngage Marriage ministry. Community outreach such as Upward Sports and our Food Pantry are also important parts of our ministry as we strive to make a difference in Greensboro, North Carolina and beyond.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Lebanon Baptist Church exists to help people of every generation come to know, accept, and follow Jesus Christ. Our services are designed to reflect the many expressions of worship that our church values. Although the music style and atmosphere is distinct between each of our two services, the teaching and primary themes remain the same. Regardless of which service you attend you can expect to be greeted kindly and immediately welcomed into the family at Lebanon Baptist Church. Lastly, please know there is no dress code at Lebanon Baptist Church. Wear what you feel most comfortable in when worshipping Jesus Christ.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

While you are in service and life groups, your kids will be having a blast in the Kid’s Ministry @ Lebanon! We promise they will be well taken care of while you enjoy the worship service. We offer both kids church and small groups for your children, which provide an opportunity to meet new friends, learn about Jesus, and have a whole lot of fun! If you are bringing your children, make sure to come in at the Kid’s Ministry check-in entrance downstairs and our volunteers will take it from there!
